Waiting status?

Maybe I'm having a blonde moment, but what does "waiting" for the status of an article mean? Thanks!

It means either of the two:

1. A buyer has placed your article in his shopping cart and hasn't gone through the payment process yet. In this case, your article is removed from the public pool, and I remember support mentioning a few weeks ago that they give a buyer about a week to make their payment before releasing the article back to the site and making it available to other buyers.

2. A buyer has purchased your article and paid for it with an eCheck, which can take a few days to clear.

Either way, give it a week, and if it's still on waiting status, you can always shoot an email to support and let them know.

Aha, right! I remembered something about it, but couldn't find that thread. Now I remember. I should refrain from posting until I've had eight hours' sleep. Thanks very much! :)

Zabrina, I have one in that status now. I've seen some people say they contacted support to reverse it and make it available. Mine is going on a week, so I'm thinking about contacting support, but just so you know, I've had it sit in "waiting" status for up to a week before it went through.
