After reading some threads in this area of the forum, I'm coming to realize patience will be a virtue while waiting for my first article to be approved or rejected.
I also realize an exact estimate is impossible based on the constant change (cc?) in amount incoming work all the time, and I'm on the bottom of the list since I submitted for the general site.
Is there a rule of thumb such as if I haven't heard or seen any change in X days I should start checking into things?
This will be less of an issue after the first approval happens (and later the first 3), but until then I don't want to become a PITA prematurely.
Thanks for any heads up on this one.

Re: On waiting for approval
All articles are reviewed eventually. There is no need to check on your article's status.

Thanks Ed.
Re: On waiting for approval
David, you get an email when you are accepted/rejected, so you'll know. I'd give it a week, but if a flood of requests come in, it might be longer.
