Rewriting articles that have been published elsewhere

I've used sites like Helium and Triond before but am new to Constant Content. Having read through some of the forum posts, I understand that I can submit work that has been published elsewhere, but to which I still have the rights, as long as it is for "usage" only. I have a couple of articles that I submitted to Triond that I would like to list here as well, but I want to edit them so that there is a clearer introduction and conclusion. They've been published under the same author name that I've chosen for CC, so I'm not worried about being accused of plagiarism, but I'd like to know if I can still offer only a usage licence if I edit my original articles. Would they need a complete rewrite before I could offer unique and full rights?

You can offer usage rights only for articles published elsewhere, partially published elsewhere, or only edited to submit to Constant Content.

Thanks,
