I have a rather crass question.

I keep reading that people are making money on the site, yet no matter how many articles I click through I keep seeing 0 downloads. Is there something I am not understanding? I have only been working, well looking, on CC for a couple of weeks.

If the article sells fullrights, then it's pulled from the site. Most users want fullrights. Usage sells too, but I think users are becoming more aware of Google's duplicate content filter.

Also, if you click through to an author's profile page, it lists the number of articles that particular author has written, plus gives the number of usage, unique, and full rights sales that they've made. This is probably an easier way to see that people are making money on this site, because like Lysis mentioned, the articles will only display downloads if they've been purchased for usage rights.

If you haven't seen any profile pages, simply go to the constant-content homepage, and click though on some of the author's names listed with the articles
