Normal Review Time

I'm new to the site and have submitted a couple of articles for review. They were submitted for usage only and for review back on October 11th. As of this evening (the 19th) there has been no indication that they were reviewed. If this is normal so be it and I'll obviously need to understand that. However, reviews taking more than a week? Is that common?

It varies. You can find other forum posts on this. The site was down for more than five hours today. I also have one pending from that date. don't worry.

If it makes anyone feel any better, I submitted one article for review on October 8. Today is November 1 or 2 (depending the time zone you are in) and still nothing. Seriously folks, I know everyone is real busy, but almost a month? How does anyone get accepted taking that long? It is very discouraging, let me tell you.

I did submit another one the other day in hope it will get noticed. But if that one gets a review first, I will be quite upset.
Any ideas?
JC

If it's been that long, I'd consider a possible system error and ask support to check it.

HI Ed,

I just wanted to let you know, I'm also still waiting on a review of an article I submitted 3 weeks ago today. I know you said you are working on it, but just thought you should know.
Thanks for your help

I was wondering too if there was some sort of backlog. I have four articles that are awaiting review. The problem is that three of these articles were for requests and already one of the requests have expired. Just wondering if the wait is going to be a standard thing so I can plan my writing projects accordingly. :D
