Getting paid?
I have $63 coming to me from the last month. It's my first month. Will I be paid today? I just checked my Paypal and there was nothing there. Anyone know when it will come through?
Re: Getting paid?
I'm on the EST timezone and it's 8:30am here. CC might still be sleeping or drinking coffee to wake up.

Re: Getting paid?
CC usually pays "around" the first. Sometimes we get paid on the first, the second, the third. . . But we do get paid near the beginning of each month

Lysis,
Where in EST are you?

Sunny South Florida. Where everyone is jealous of the winter weather, but then they get a taste of our humid summers and realize it's a huge trade off!
Re: Getting paid?
Ugh, can't take humidity. That's why I'm in the high desert, nice and dry. No snow yet but I'm sure we'll get some. Just enough to look pretty for a few hours and then melt away

Where are you Debbi?
The only thing I like about the cold is it gets me to type more since the lappy wrist area is warm.

That's weird, Lysis, so am I. I was just hanging on my palm fronds today, cutting them off so they won't interfere with the Christmas lights.
Re: Getting paid?
oh yayyy another Floridian!
Re: Getting paid?
Lysis,
About 30 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico, almost a mile high. I moved here from the snowless part of California so snow is a treat for me, especially at Christmas.

Is that near Lake Powell? I got to spend a week with a boyfriend in Lake Powell. Soooo much fun, and it was so pretty. It's a whole different world out there.

Ah, Lake Powell. . . Fond memories there for me as well. We did a houseboat trip with a bunch of friends (before kids came along) and had a blast. We took our canoe, jet skis, and many cases of beer. I remember going into this cave and being impressed by one of the guy's opera skills. Turns out he was singing one of the Dr. Seuss songs, not opera. But it was still beautiful. . .
PS, I have palm trees in my yard, too. May have to string the lights on the palm trees and go windsurfing on Christmas Day.

YES! My boyfriend took me to the best Mexican restaurant ever in that little town next to Lake Powell. Best margaritas evarrrrrr. I loved it so much. I doubt I'll ever get to see it again, but I remember being kinda snotty and telling him "A lake? Hellooooo I live next to the ocean and you think a lake is a vacation?" It was probably one of the best trips I've had! He also took me through the Mormon area (he was Mormon but you'd never know except he had that Utah accent) where they don't fully build their houses. I swear it was like the twilight zone. That whole trip was like a different world for me!

Ah yes, a most awesome lake leading into Grand Canyon It's definitely a world of its own. We left San Diego for Lake Powell. Hey, if you live in a resort beach town, sometimes you gotta get away, right?
You're probably thinking of the town of Page, Arizona where my dad made friends with a bunch of scary biker types on a different trip.
