How am I still getting article views when it's sold?

It's not a problem, but I'm just curious how I'm getting article views on sold content. Is it the customer going back to his account and viewing the file? Or is it CC looking at the file? I'm just curious, because one of my articles was sold after 2 views and it has 5 views on it now. One of the views was several hours after it sold. I only noticed, because it's from today. It's not a private request. It was posted for the public stash.
Not a biggie. I'm really just curious. I can be a bit paranoid, so my first thought was that CC was checking it because there is something wrong.
