Book request

There is an odd entry in public requests. The requester is looking for book manuscripts (he doesn't need payment!) of 1000 words for $150-250 words. That's good payment for 1000 words but that's a short story, not a book. Also the request is for fiction - science fiction, romance, thriller and action - i thought we couldn't submit fiction at CC. Just like some clarification on this. No mention of rights is given.

I don't think it's legit, whatever it is. As I mentioned in the thread above, any mention of the writer having to pay is a clear sign something's amiss.

Some people make really short eBooks. 1,000 words is still really short, but I've seen some people put a few pages together and call it an eBook. That might be where the user is coming from.
