Am I an affiliate?

I tried to sign up to become an affiliate the other day, but when I go to the affiliate tab, I'm still seeing a form to enter the information, as if I hadn't already entered it. And I don't see anywhere to log in to an affiliate page. (This is an affiliate to attract potential customers, not potential authors; the author affiliate seems to be working fine.) I can't tell if my affiliate registration went through or not!

The affiliate section is on hold at the moment, we will send emails to the affiliates that have signed up when we are ready.

Okay, thanks. I was just wondering. :-)

Are affiliate links DIFFERENT than author referral links?

Really sorry to bother you about this & NO HURRY in reply.

I have two different sites that I have my "author referral link" on to get people here to become authors OR buyers. I signed up both of these sites back in November to be affiliates, but I have NOT ever recieved anything about them???

Will people who come here from these links & become buyers -- be credited to me at 20% for each purchase they make?

Is this all I need to do or should I have a different "affiliate link" than my author referral link?

I'm really trying to understand how this works considering the 20% part.

THANK FOR ALL THE HELP AND INFO!!!!

Writers have a affiliate URL to refer other writers, we also have another affiliate program that can get you 20% of a particular sale if a customer comes from your site or link. This second affiliate program is on hold at the moment.

If you use your writer affiliate URL you will not be credited for customer sales, this is the other affiliate program.

Quite a lot of time has elapsed since previous posts so I have taken it upon myself to resurrect this thread.

I have just completed the form to sign as an affiliate and ran into the same brick wall as others had done previously. I found this post and was surprised to discover that there has still been no movement on this. Ok, if the affiliate program is on hold, that's up to CC and it will happen when it happens.

However... CC is taking %35 of all sales with the proviso that 20% of that is for affiliate commissions. I am perplexed. How can they be paying that 20% when there are no affiliates? That would mean that CC is keeping 30% of all sales (with 5% going to author referrals) and not 10% as is stated.

Or does it mean that there are no NEW affiliates?

Can this be clarified?

Yes we are taking 30%
