Submitting again after rejection

I recently submitted my first article and received my first rejection. I used first person POV. I knew better and can't believe I missed it. Anyway, I have changed it and will submit again. My question - should I be concerned about any other errors or problems with my article? Would Ed have mentioned anything else or just stopped when he noticed the POV problem? Just want to get it right. I am already seeing how this whole process will make me a better writer. Thanks.

It's always good to recheck your article before resubmission in order to reduce the chances the article will be rejected for another reason - grammar errors or typos, for example.
In addition, you may want to check the clarity of your first line. It seemed to me it should read something like "Despite what 20-somethings would have us believe . . . " rather than "As much as 20-somethings would have us believe . . . " (I don't recall your exact wording, but you may understand what I mean.)
Thanks,
Ed
