Question About Article Submitted to Public Request

I submitted an article in response to a public request. It was accepted and the email said it was sent to the client and would remain exclusive for 3 days and then go into the public pool. That was Tuesday morning. It's Friday night and I have heard absolutely nothing. Are we notified if the client decided not to purchase our article? I'd really like to know what my article's status is. Thanks!

I've only had two clients notify me in the six months I've been here. Usually the article just appears on my Profile page once the 3-day period has elapsed.

Sometimes customers take a while to buy anyway. Even if it has gone into the general pile, s/he might still come back and buy it, if it's not snapped up by soemone else.
