Constant Content

I'm new at this, so I have to aplogize if this is a dumb question, but how can I tell who bought my article? I just sold my first article, which I wrote in response to a Public Request. After I wrote it, I sent the requestor a message via their Q&A section saying that I was offering them the content. I never got a response from the requestor. Then a week later, I got an email from C-C saying the content was sold. Now I'm wondering if it was the people who originally posted the request who bought it, or if it was someone else. I did click on the link that said "Your Recently Sold Content," but didn't see anything there that would indicate whether it was the original requestor, or someone else, who had bought it.

Also, the request has now moved up into the Private Requests section of my requested content page. Does this mean the people want to buy more articles from me??

Welcome to the gang! Look under "Licenses for my content" and you will see the first part of the buyer's email address. For example if "abc@___" requested the article and "abc" is listed under the license then you will know the requester bought it. If "123" is listed, it's likely another customer who found the article. In the old days, you could sometimes see the web address of the actual article. Wait a few days and google a paragraph or so of your article and you should be able to find it if it's been posted on the web.

As far as the request moving up into the private section, to me, it sounds like a bug. I've seen a few posts on the forums with a similar phenomenon and that doesn't seem to jibe with my experience as far as private requests go. Usually, when you get a legitimate private request, you will get a specific message from the requester with instructions and all of their requirements.
