I thought making transactions outside CC was unethical but yesterday when I contacted a requester for more article details I received an email from CC saying don't give your contact details to requesters and stay safe, etc.

I realise this was an automatic email because I didn't give any contact details but the email didn't seem to really discourage doing transactions outside CC. I would have thought it would say in capital letters "transactions outside CC are unethical" etc.

So it is a no-no to contact requesters when they're looking for a regular writer and say I can do this cheaper outside CC, isn't it? I HOPE SO!

Yes, do not try to take clients outside the system.
