Plagiarism and quotations
I have two questions, one is about plagiarism. I found a site that edits your content (for a price) and it includes scanning your piece for correct citations ect. I have not been able to find it yet this morning, but I believe that CC wants us to cite another web site just using the webs sites name without all the http://www.------, and just write it as asiteifound.com. My question is, will this be likely to set off the plagiarism horn? It does on the site I mentioned a moment ago. In fact when I quoted something in the article it also questioned my integrity. I think that when you directly quote someone you use " to indicate that, correct?

I suppose it isn't any more stupid of me to post a question and then answer it, than it is not to have found the answer at all. DUH. I finally clicked on the help button and found the writers guidelines, which told me what I knew I remembered and that was that if we must refer to a web site do it the way I said, with out the http thingi. Next time I will look harder before I post a question.

hmm...yeah that's the tricky thing...just be careful in quoting what others have written, they have to be acknowledged and recognized.
