This week I've noticed that my articles are being reviewed (and accepted) much more quickly - within hours or even minutes. Has something changed?

If your articles were submitted for public requests those are always reviewed quickly, usually under 24 hours unless there is a hurricane or tornado

Could be that there are just fewer articles in the pipeline, too--i.e., fewer articles being submitted this week. Enjoy the quick turnarounds while they last!

Ed is on his hols for about 10 days and I think he was working like a demon to get everything tidy before he went today. He has an assistant who is holding the reins until he comes back, and he has suggested that we don't submit any long pieces until he's back. I can't remember which thread Ed posted in, but that's the background
