How does CC make its services known to potential clients?
Is there anyway we can help promote it more so that we can get more buyers for our great stuff?

Re: How does CC draw Clients?
A couple of the old-timers around here have vibrant blogs with prominent mentions of C-C, and some smarter folks use Twitter. (Personally, I'm not smart enough to use Twitter.)
Funny enough, I've never seen an ad for Constant-Content. I stumbled upon the site through a freelance writing review site, and no, it wasn't JadeDragon's (I found hers later) and no, I didn't click on the recruiting link. I went directly to the CC URL without clicking. But then, I don't often search to BUY content. I should go do that instead of this incredibly boring project I'm supposed to be working on... I'll report back later if anything interesting pops up.

Re: How does CC draw Clients?
Searches for "buy articles", "buy website articles," "buy articles for website", "buy website content", "buy blog content", "buy freelance articles" brought C-C up in the number one spot.
Searches for "buy articles for blog", "buy blog articles", "blog article writer", "website article writer", "article marketing writer", "find article writer", "buy health articles", "website content writer", CC isn't on the first five pages.
So, it looks like CC is optimized for "buy website articles" and related terms, but the blog word is missing from the SEO. I didn't use "ghostwriter" in any of my searches, nor "freelance writer" but those are other common searches when someone is looking to buy articles.
It might be good to optimize for blog, freelance, ghostwriter, find a writer, hire a writer, article marketing, and so on. Of all these terms, optimizing for "blog" would probably be really good since that's one branch of our business. Dr. Kristie would probably appreciate an optimization for "health articles".
That's my quick perusal of Ask.com!

Re: How does CC draw Clients?
My wife writes novels. While she was searching she found CC and told me to go check it out (I love that woman). I'm not sure what search words she was using, or what site she saw the reference, but word of mouth (customer, blog and article references in this case) seems to bring in a lot more customers. I also like to think it's more in the quality of work here.
I've seen many of the "freelance" sites out there, and I'm not impressed. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking through requests on other sites, and to tell the truth I was disgusted. If I were a customer I'd look for writers who have a firm grasp of not only the subject, but also of their own worth as writers. When I see bids which say, "I'll write your fifty articles of five hundred words each for ten dollars," the old saying about getting what you pay for comes to mind.

Re: How does CC draw Clients?
Keep in mind that people who want 500 articles at $2 each are generally not looking for top-quality writing--they're looking to get ranked on article directories and lead readers back to their own sites. It's not that they want "bad" writing, just that they have different motivations and priorities. I don't think of CC as being in competition with sites like these since they have completely different target markets.
