I just submitted my first article to CC. I got an email that says it was rejected because there wasn't a file attached.

Well, I can be an airhead, but I didn't space this one out. And yes, it was in the correct file format because I read the submission guidelines before submitting.

I remember seeing something on one of the CC pages about the system being temperamental with regards to attached files.

So, my question is this: Will this system glitch count against my three-strikes? That would be most harsh indeed.

No, you won't be penalized for stuff like that. Remember, real humans make the decision to suspend accounts and they don't do so lightly.
