Ok to add note in short summary?

Ok, an article of mine has been rejected and I already made the corrections. Should I put something like

"Note to ed: article has been revised. thank you for the corrections."

in the short summary when I submit it the second time?

No, don't do that for general revisions. It just creates more work because you'll have to go in and delete the note and change the short summary.
