Hi

I'm sure I read somewhere about not being able to write promotional articles but what does that mean exactly? Can I write positive reviews? Can we mention brand names and write whole articles about a particular brand/model/product?

For example I would like to write a car review which I assume would be acceptable. I am also writing an article about methods of language learning - can I mention web site names (I know I can't put in links), publishers etc.?

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

The promotion restriction is a primarily a self-promotion restriction. So, if I owned a business, Celeste Stewart's Widgets, I couldn't write articles promoting that business or its products.

Ah right, I don't remember seeing that bit.
