Does the title have to be 12 pt times new roman? And the content of the article will start after one space line from the title right? Forgive me for giving out question for specific answers, I just don't want my article to be rejected.

Yes, the title should be the same. No need to make it larger or bold it or anything. Here's what I do:

This is the Title
By Celeste Stewart

This is the first sentence of the article. I include my byline in the Word document so if the article sells for usage or unique, my name is right there and easy for the client to include. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah.

This is a Bold Heading
This is the next paragraph. Not all need headings, but when they do, I go ahead and make them bold. I keep it the same size and font. All I do is bold it so that it stands out. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah.

I use my own heading 1 style for titles. They've always been approved - so far.

I use 12pt TNR everywhere. Seems to work so far. :P

I'd say as long as you're following the spirit of the guidelines, it's all good.

CJ, over and out
