Hi!

I have only 4 articles in my portfolio. How many should I have to start receiving orders?

I don’t have time for public requests; so I’m only posting articles to CC whenever I have time for them. I thought that I could simply write a few articles about internet marketing, and sell them this way. However, I guess that I need many articles in my portfolio in order to be trusted…

What do you think about the quantity of articles exposed for sale?


Another question:

I write daily articles about psychology promoting my business. So, I thought about writing business articles and sell them to other people, while writing the regular articles for my own business.


Do you think that perhaps it would be a better idea to just sell articles about various topics instead of focusing only on internet marketing?

Or do you believe that it’s a good idea to focus on only one topic?

Your articles will sell eventually, but getting a critical mass of articles on the site will get you consistent sales. Imagine opening a corner store with just 4 items to sell. Sales will be pretty slow. I don't think specializing or not specializing makes any difference at all. Writing similar articles to sell and for your business is a pretty smart way to maximize your output.

Remember that you can submit your articles for usage rights here, even if they appear elsewhere, as long as the byline used matches the one you use here, and they meet the CC guidlines, of course.

Interesting, I didn’t know that.

I have no intention to use the articles I write for CC anywhere else, or to sell at CC the same articles I write for my business. However, it’s good to know I have this alternative.
