I sold my first article today. I know that the next payment cycle is the first seven days of December, but do I have to request payment in some way or is payment in full automatic?

I was also heartened to confirm that CC now offers bi-monthly payment, which means twice per month.

No need to request CC to send you payment. CC does it within the first few days of the payment cut-off. You'll get a Paypal notification and a CC notification.

Sales to and including the last day of the month are paid within the first few business days of the next month (sometimes on the first even). There is a similar mid-month cutoff for mid-month payments.
