Constant Content

I have been receiving errors when trying to submit articles. I realize the site has been going through some modifications as well as testing. The error that is received is within the upload file function. Articles are being listed within my content, however there are no files. This is with both browsers Netscape and IE. I have cleared cache in both browsers and still is a no go. I thought it might have been due to some heavy traffic so I waited for a few days. Still a no go. Any suggestions?

Uploading errors were apparently linked to file sizes. Images embedded into the documents were of print quality which increased the file size.

What is the maximum number of bytes allowed?
