Submitted Article rejected

I would appreciate comments/corrections regarding The Fairy Ring that I submitted recently. As well Tears of Love and Spring Breakup - I am more than happy to receive critiques and/or suggestions as to how to bring my material up to your standards. I did proof read them as well as had other people proof read and edit these stories. They are in 12 pica type, single spaced, double between paragraphs. However, they were justified (I thought for easier reading) The grammer has been gone over and corrected as well as punctuation. Is it style, or content? I am a retired Canadian Legal
/executive secretary so have extensive background with legal documents plus have taken courses etc. I am sincere in wanting to learn more about this venue as I am hoping to write anecdotes, and short stories as my retirement vocation. Thank you for your attention and help. Grandma Beames a.k.a.

Grandma,
I'm not sure why your article was rejected but maybe you should post this in the article rejections part of this forum
you might get your answer faster.
What did your rejection email say? The last article I submitted, had the words barbecue and camfer spelled wrong.
I guess I should use a spell checker, but anyways, they simply told me what was wrong and asked that I correct it.

Were they articles, or stories (prose)? I know this site is only looking for informative articles, such as those read on websites, unless requested by a customer another form of document.

Eva,
Check out the 'Short Stories' section under the 'General' subheading in the Articles area. This sounds like the type of project you are interested in. Maybe posting your stories under this category will get you better results. Also, under the 'General' subheading is where poems can be found, if you are interested in that as well.
I'm new here too and find different things every time I log in. It just takes time to learn your way around.
Good luck.
