Question re: New Public Requests

Hi, I am a new member to Constant Content and have spent considerable time reading the FAQ's, submission guidelines, etc. But the one area I can't find a lot of info about is the Public Requests. I have recently begun to receive New Public Requests in my Inbox, but when I get them, they appear to be about 5 days old. For example, today I received a New Public Request, and it is dated <<Date requested: 2011-04-20.>>

How can I view Requests as they are posted, rather than when they are 4-5 days old?

Shouldn't I be able to log in somewhere on the Constant Content site to view Requests?

Hello,
Yes, there's a section specifically for viewing public requests. Sign into your account and look at the tabs along the top. They read from left to right: Home, Buy Content, Requested Content, Find Author, Blog, Forum, Help, About. Click on the Requested Content tab and you should see the public requests by default. You can also arrive there from the left side navigation menu under My Account > Requested Content.

I'm not sure what's up with the delay in getting the emails lately. I know CC was tweaking some things like servers over the last month or so. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

Celeste, thank you so much for your reply.

When I log into my account, I do not have a "Requested Content" tab. The only tab I have relating to content is "Request Content."

That's what I found so odd.

I am a content provider, not a content purchaser.

I sent a request to Contact. I'm hoping I will receive a reply as I'm looking forward to submitting articles.

You may need to re-sign up with CC as an author. It looks like the system thinks you're a customer.

Thank you Celeste. I tried to re-register as an author with a new user ID and new password. This is the message I received:

This email address is already registered!
This account has already been registered!

Sounds like support will need to do something on their end unless you have a different email address you can use.
