Byline Omitted on Usage Rights

A customer bought an article for usage rights only, but it is posted on his website/blog as being written by him. I emailed support nearly two weeks ago - no response. So I'm wondering whether to leave a note in the comment box on the customer's blog. It seems a bit direct for my liking because it could be a genuine mistake. I would rather CC dealt with it so I don't have to personally contact the customer. Any suggestions?
