I´m a bit confused. Supposedly the same person bought my article three times! One order went through, the other two are listed as Processing-Unpaid. Does this mean I am actually going to earn three times for the same article or is it just a mistake? How does this happen?

That sounds like a technical glitch. Chances are, the problem will resolve itself. If not, try contacting support.

Too bad I was hoping I´d get 3x the pay!
