Stoopid n00b question #347 - where do you put your byline?

Does it go in the document itself? I'm used to content sites where you don't use a byline because your pen name is already part of your publishing template.
Do I need to edit my two submissions to include my byline?
Thanks!

Have come to this late but see you don't have any r eplies here, so I will add one in case you still haven't got this worked out.
If you don't put in a byline, customers cannot be expected to publish it, so if you are offering usage and/or unique rights, you should have it under the article title in your documents, otherwise customers are allowed to publish without a byline. If your articles have already been accepted you will need to delete and resubmit to add the byline, but put a note in the short summary to tell the editors if you haven't changed anything else. Then when an article is accepted, go back in and edit the short summary. If the articles are still in review, you can edit your submission to delete the original document and and add one with your byline.
Hope this helps.

Also, just to note: you don't need to include your byline. It is optional.
