Can anyone explain the 3 strike rule to me (as it applies to CC)?
My first article was sent back to me because there was an issue with commas. i resubmitted and I was asked to make the first paragraph longer. I did that and the article was accepted. I guess what I'm asking is - have I used 2 strikes?

If your article has been accepted, you really don't need to worry. The 3 strike rule is the way CC can stop really poor submissions from authors that simply cannot match the standards required here. Most of us have had more than 3 rejections at different times and we are still here. Just make sure you get your articles really well proofed before you submit, and learn from any mistakes you have put right at the request of the editors. It's when pieces come back over and over with the same errors that they will get fed up with you.

Phew! That's a relief. It suddenly entered my head that I might have been standing on the edge of a very high precipice. I was so worried I didn't submit my third article. My second one has been with them over a week now but from reading other posts I don't think that's a sign of anything sinister - hope not anyway.
Thanks Jak
