Bullet formatting in the long summary

Hi Everyone
I am wondering if you folks can offer some info in formatting in regards to the long summary. When I paste a bulleted list into the long summary box, it is skewed. The bullits don't show up, and the beginning of the sentence is indented, but on the next line, the remainder of the sentence is not indented, it goes to the left margin.
I don't use periods in a bulleted list, so what I paste into the box looks like regular sentences without periods. Should I add periods, even though they are not in the article itself (because in the article, the text is part of bulleted list). And should I just remove the bullet format for the long summary, even though the actual article will have bullets. That means the long summary and the article are not exatly the same. Is that ok?
Sorry for running on, it's a little challenging to explain.

Thank you and have a happy day.

I get exactly what you're trying to say. There are a couple of solutions to this.

When you paste the long summary, scroll through it and put an * where the bullet should be. The asterisk acts as a bullet, signalling the buyer you meant to do that.

Add a note either in the short summary or at the top of the pasted long summary that says, "This article contains a bullet-point list" or something like that. Most readers are going to get it even if you don't point it out because of how lists are introduced in the text. But it never hurts to be perfectly clear, right?

That's my advice! I'll take my nickel now.

I just use regular bullet points from Word. I just right click where I want the bullet and select "bullet" from the list. They show up fine in my long summaries.

The indents will show when you copy and paste, but I think they transfer normally once you save. I'm not sure though, that may be another site. It has been awhile since I submitted an article with a bulleted list here, but I may have gone through and deleted the spaces before saving. Either way, I just went and checked one that had bullets, and they show up as bullets.
