Submitting a Third Article, with Two Already in the Queue?

Post by TamathaCampbell »

Hi, all.

Having searched unsuccessfully for an answer to this very basic question, I apologize if it has already been covered elsewhere.

I'm a newbie here, and I submitted my first article two weeks ago. The first two articles were accepted, and one of them has sold. There are two more awaiting review. With the "three-strikes" policy, it seems unwise to submit another before at least one of the articles in the queue has been reviewed at this stage.

Is my paranoia warranted? Or is it acceptable (or at least "not outrageously foolhardy") for newbies to have several articles in the queue at once?

Thanks.

(I'd noticed the advice for more established Constant Content people is to continue submitting more articles while awaiting review, but that the editors might be more forgiving in terms of a potential ban, if one of those articles contained an error of some kind.)

Since you have been accepted twice and even sold an article, you have little to fear here. Just proof your work and get it in. As a new writer you are restricted in the number of submissions though at first. That protects from spammers and unqualified writers plugging things up. Not sure what the limits are exactly, but if you hit a limit the site tells you.

By all means, get writing and build up a bank of articles - even if you can't submit everything immediately. Good luck! You are off to a great start.
