I have found the section for the writer pool but I cannot switch between available and unavailable so I presume I need to apply first? I can't see anywhere on that page to apply. Please let me know where to do so. Thanks!

My understanding is that you must have at least ten articles approved, and have submitted work within the past year to be eligible for writer pools. Don't know if you must have sold content.

However, I just had my tenth article accepted and cannot switch from unavailable, either. I have sold content here. I sent a note to the Help address. Will post if I get more information.

Hi,

I am in the same situation. I have had 10 articles accepted, of which I have sold half, and I don't seem to be able to join the writer's pool either!

Undercoverwaitress, did you get any reply to your query? I'll wait for your response before contacting admin myself.

Hi --

You have to have sold 60% of your content to be eligible for the witer's pool. Looks like you are one article away...

Best,

Your acceptance rate needs to be 60% or higher before the Pool Settings will activate. Acceptance rate is calculated by taking the total number of Accepted Articles you have, and dividing that into the total number of Submissions and Resubmissions you've made.

Ah. That makes sense now! I guess I might have a way to go then as only a couple of my articles have been accepted without any editing!

Thanks for your advice.

I haven't been keeping track of the number of my articles that have been accepted the first time submitted versus the number that had to be corrected and resubmitted. Is there some way to know other than personally keeping track?

It's in the writer pool tab.
