A question: I'm writing a series of health articles on the same subject. Is it permissable to lift a couple of paragraphs from 1 article & place it another? If not, should I rewrite? Should the rewrite be complete? Or need it only be partial?

You would need to cite it even though you wrote it. Otherwise, it's "self-plagiarism."
