Just had a rejection that said to write EHarmony as a branded name. Can someone help me with this? Though the rejection only said EHarmony, there are several other dating sites mentioned that also are branded in the article. I simply capitalized all of them.
Can I put a footnote stating "*EHarmony, Match, Friend Finders, and OK Cupid, are all trademarks of their respective owners" or something like that? Or should I insert a (tm) after each name, or ???

Perhaps they meant to write it as eHarmony, which is how the site brands itself?

I think SJ is onto something and the editors want you to use the same upper/lowercase conventions the brand uses. If eHarmony brands itself with the lowercase 'e,' then you need to conform. It's trickier if you start the sentence with eHarmony though because then you'd technically need to capitalize it. The workaround would be to rearrange the names as in, "Match, eHarmony, and Friend Finders are..."
