Is it all right for me to use Chinese characters in an article? I just want to insert a few in relevant places (with translations and everything) but I'm not sure how they'll show up for other people. I'm using Word 2007 if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Eastern characters tend to rely heavily on the end user's PC being set up for it. I would avoid it if at all possible, as to many people it will just look like a bunch of squares or rectangles.
