Commas are driving me crazy.

They are such squirmy little things and I'm not sure when you don't have to use one.

For instance, did the last sentence warrant a comma? Would not using a comma in that sentence get an article rejected?

Thanks.

Hehe - they drive me crazy too. I think (but I could be wrong) that you do need a comma before the 'and' in that sentence. It has two main clauses joined with a coordinating conjunction. I find them extremely tricky when they are short or contain lots of pronouns. I have had to really brush up on my grammar and punctuation, and I need to think hard about many sentences. My guess is you probably have more idea than I do. :D I found it useful, and quite fun, playing with the exercises here http://www.chompchomp.com/exercises.htm

They say it get easier
