Hello Everyone. I started submititng articles here recently, and I've very pleased with both the process and the results. I have a number of articles posted on Suite 101 that I would like to submit here for usage only (of course). I had a look at one that I'm sure would do well here, but I've discovered that it's been copied (picture and all) and used without permission, a link or attribution by a site called PoorBank.com, and another at http://finences.com. It looks like both have stolen hundreds of articles from various places. It also appears that neither are still in business.
What's really infuriating is that the date posted on one site is listed as two days before it was posted on Suite 101. I assume that that Copyscape checks the "real" date posted not the one listed, but still I'm concerned. To make matters worse, I can't find the article on Suite. Things are a bit of a mess there now with the overhaul, and it looks like it may have been deleted. They are supposed to email you if they take down your articles, but who knows?
So, my question is, should I just cut my losses, or will Constant Content (through Copyscape) get to the bottom of things? Being accused of plagarism really would adding insult to injury at this point.

That sounds like quite an unfortunate situation, but honestly, you're probably better off to focus on submitting new original content. If the editors aren't able to easily identify you as the writer of the content as it appears on other sites, they flat out just aren't able to accept it.

You're right. It's best not to take the chance. I can't tell you, though, how much it irritates me that shysters are making money off my work and I can't.
Oh well, at least I'm a little wiser to go with my older.
