Revising requested content

Hello!
I wrote an article specific to a request. By the time I got it posted the customer had already purchased two articles on the topic. I'd like to revise it so that it's more general so that I can possibly sell it to another customer.
Do I delete it from constant content, make revisions and then resubmit it?

Thanks
Jeanette

A good question - and I'm not even sure how one would know the requester had already purchased 2 articles?

My own question is this - how come I received an email about a public request but there's no sign of it on the public request page? Does that mean it has already gone?

I'm also unsure how to resond, as it deals with a specific product, but I see no reference number for the request or other way of detailing what its for?

I can fit it in a category but it would be of little use to anyone other than the seller of that specific product.

??

You can always ask the requester questions.

If the request is gone, the customer has taken it down - either they found what they needed already or changed their mind.
