Question on submitting existing article.

I recently submitted an existing article to a public request. Upon further reflection, I'm not quite sure if that was a wise choice. The article was on a hot topic, on the latest content page, and also on the first page for online business. Typically my articles in that given situation sell within a few days. My question is how long does the submitted article become unavailable to the public?

My apologies if this has been asked before previously. Either way it's no big deal. I was just hoping to add an extra 40 bucks to my mid-month payout

In theory, it is after three days from approval by the editors, but in practice, it has often been longer than that. If it has been longer than 3 days since it was approved, you might want to email support and ask them to release it pronto.
