When browsing the site, I see lots of articles offered for usage rates less than $7.00 and those continue to sell; I see a purchase of user rights to an article for $5 or less just about every day on the sold content list. While I think that it is good that there is a minimum price set, I don't like that the users from before the price was instituted can keep the lower price as it undercuts everyone else. Also, I have seen quite a few authors with older articles that are in areas no longer accepted, such as memoirs and fiction. While neither of those areas seems to sell well, it still seems strange that those stories continue to be listed here, and are inconsistent with clearly stated current requirements. To me it makes the standards of the site appear inconsistent.

Otherwise I have no complaints! I am really enjoying writing (and selling!) here.

Older articles are "grandfathered" in, much the same way as with some types of local ordinances and such in other aspects of life. Recently, usage sales have hit a new surge, and it looks like CC picked up a few new customers looking for less expensive content. It does seem foolish though to sell any article for a price as low as 50 cents or a single dollar, doesn't it?

Occasionally, a request asks for content that is not typically allowed. When this happens, the rules give way to provide the customer with what he needs. Anything that isn't purchased is allowed to remain on site, which is only fair as the writers put in the time to meet the needs of a client. Once the request expires, that type of content goes back to being unacceptable despite the fact that some of it remains on site. Hope this helps to explain what is going on!
