Political articles that don't take sides
I know editorializing isn't allowed here. But is it all right to write about current political issues in an objective, "here are the facts and why they're important" way? I'm writing a few articles on legal issues, and one of them involves a lot of federal politics.
Re: Political articles that don't take sides
I would say it's ok as long as 1) it's unbiased 2) it presents all relevant sides and 3) it's presenting the facts and clearly marking things that may be subjective. IE: There were X homicides in 2012. Democrats feel that blah blah blah is the problem. However, Republicans thing the blah blah blah is the real cause.
