Constant Content

Hi! I am new, I tried submitting articles and it just keeps coming up "Check Title"

My title is unique, I checked that. I tried changing it, nope didn't work. I tried contacting the people at Constant Content and have not recieved a reply.

Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

This happened to someone else last week and it eventually stopped. I don't know what to tell you to do, though. Perhaps wait 10 minutes before trying again?

I'm not really sure why it does that. It seems to be a glitch, so I would try back again later - maybe at a time the server wouldn't be really busy.

It still isn't working. I wrote to Constant Content again and still haven't heard anything. I tried a different article and still nothing. Does anyone have any answer? Thank you!

I am still fairly new here, but I have never experienced that problem. However, I have had similar issues with other websites. Have you tried clearing your temp files, cookies, and re-booting? Maybe your computer is trying to read something that is stuck in your cache. (This might not be the correct technical computer lingo, but it's the best way I can explain it). I am not a computer genius, but I hope that helps.

What is the title you are entering... I can try it?

I'm not sure why people are saying they have seen this... I have never heard nor seen this issue. maybe some security settings?

I think I've seen this happen once or twice. If I recall it was when the site seemed particularly slow.

Nelly, have you tried it from a different computer? Do you have high speed or dial-up?

I had the same problem a few weeks back. Finally, I just left the articles until the next day and was able to submit them without any problems.

I have also had this happen several times when submitting articles. Changing the name would help, but I guess that is not the case for all.

I have tried waiting, letting the page sit, deleting my cookies and everything. I have no security program. I don't understand. I give up.

Hi! Don't give up! The submit page is very sensitive and quirky at times. Fill it out in order, starting with the category. Fill each section completely before moving on. Never hit back on your browser or refresh. If you do, then you need to start over. The next time might be the magical moment when it works. I have had that pesky message of "check title" happen to me several weeks ago. Fortunately, it got tired of me and moved on. Try again. Good luck!
