Hours?

Post by Julie »

Hello all,

Just curious about the hours of operation around here. Specifically, are editors working the typical Monday through Friday, 8-5? Do articles get aproval after hours or on weekends or just during standard business hours?

I think they're like us - they log in when they can. Plenty of articles go through over the weekend. Then you may have a mid-week spell where none go through for a couple days.

Hi. Celeste . . . you underestimate us! ;)

It's true we have no set hours here at Constant Content and get to articles when we can. However, articles get reviewed each day. It's rare that a day goes by when no articles get reviewed.

I myself, as a proud member of the North American Writers' Sweatshop (I have yet to get a laugh from this), am chained to my computer for about 14 hours a day. I pop into the forum when I can, but rest assured that a lot more goes on behind the scenes than what the writers see. Just imagine a Willy Wonka-esque factory of words. We're quality control, but we aren't Oompa Loompas . . . or are we?

And if you *could* see, you would shield your eyes and say "Oh my golly gosh!" ;)

Welcome to the weekend. Important to start it out with mixed metaphors, but only if you realize you are doing so.

I should also mention that support doesn't necessarily work weekends, so if you email them, they might not get around to your question/issue until the weekend is over.
