Article not seen by flipping pages or in its sequence

We've had several articles that were accepted but could never be found by clicking Articles, and flipping pages to find it. The only way we found it was to do a search for the name or go directly to it through the subject menu.

It appears that once accepted, articles show up in sequence according to their ID number. Is this not true? Can we not "flip pages" until we get to the sequence of ID numbers which include our article? We thought we should be able to, but some just never show up. The latest is ID 52211.

It's a bit disheartening to write articles that otherwise could have hit the front page, but don't because of this "glitch".

If anyone has had this problem, or knows of a solution, please let us know. Or let us know if we're doing something wrong to cause it.

P.S. Emma thinks I'm writing this post too bluntly. If so, I had no intention of doing so. We're happy members of CC.

:) I thought you had a mouse in your pocket until I saw your signature. :)

Gosh, I don't know. I do know that sometimes an article gets approved out of order and when it does it seems like it gets buried according to when it was subbed (if that makes sense)

For example, lets say I subbed an article on Monday but it somehow got overlooked. By Saturday I ask the editors if it got overlooked and they say "it must have, we'll check" and then they approve it. It doesn't appear on the recent articles page because it's from Monday and even though it's the most recent one right now, it's buried because technically it's older because it was created on Monday. I'm not sure if that's how it works but it's my best guess.

So maybe keep digging through the pages?

I don't know if customers see the same page we see either. I assume they do.

If your talking about here:

No one looks for articles here... there are just way to many, everyone uses the search or categories. Your article can be found here:

http://www.constant-content.com/Categor ... ning-0.htm

However we will look into why its not showing in the main articles section as well.

Thanks for looking into it. We understand what you're saying about there being so many.
