Rejection reason: article must be placed in a profile

Post by mattemge »

My article was rejected because "all articles must be placed in a profile upon submission." What does that mean? How could I submit an article without being logged into my profile?

Thanks.

Hi Mattemge,

Maybe they meant "category"....each article does have to be submitted in a category of its own. If you post this query in the thread specifically intended for rejections, you may get a better answer.

Yeah, once I hit the button, I realized I had written that idiotic statement.

That's a classic case of an editor reviewing while asleep.

Damyanti has it correct. Sorry.

I'm just gettnig started here so thanks for the replies.

Just a friendly suggestion: shouldn't the system require you to choose a sub-category before submitting, in the same way it requires you to select a category? I'm a QA software tester so these kinds of things interest me, and your site is a playgound of interesting quirks. I'll do my part and pay closer attention next time. Sorry for the oversight.

I'd prefer it, but I don't have any control over it. Maybe send the suggestion Support's way?
