I new and confused

Post by IsabellaWilde »

Hi all, I'm new here and I have a article I want to publish. It is a research paper I did on Mary Queen of Scots, but it has citations for the sites and books I got my info from. Is this ok?
Thanks! :)

I have turned several research papers into articles before (and sold quite a few of them!). Why let good writing go to waste!? What I do first of all is drastically edit them down. Generally I go from the 3000ish original words to 500-1000. I take out any of the arguments that are usually part of research papers and leave only the facts, then make sure it still flows together well. Sometimes this does take a good amount of re-writing, but at least all your info is already there! I also take out all in-text citations and simply give a list of sources at the bottom. Good luck!
