What happened to the 'download' button?

I wanted to change the amount of text in the long preview. I've done this before, and used the 'download' button under the 'my content' page to download the file, copy, and paste it back. But... on some of my articles, it's gone. Why does it appear on some articles, and not on others? Is this a glitch? Is this option being removed?

Isn't the download button only available when your article is in review?

I do believe that you can just click on 'edit', and then change the long excerpt, then don't forget to 'save changes'.

It seems a bit of a anomaly, but I think you can do that with articles awaiting a buyer.

I don't know why I thought it was available on some, and not on others. Strange. Perhaps it's that one brain cell... the one that blinks on and off.
