What does it mean when a public request "disappears" ?

Here's a quick question that I'm sure someone with more experience than me can tackle with ease. I'd be grateful for your input!

When perusing the standard "New Public Requests" e-mail from CC this weekend, I saw a request that I knew I wanted to take a shot at. This request, entitled " About Us Web Copy for White Sands Treatment Center", was scheduled to expire on June 21, 2013.

Now that I have completed the requested article and am ready to submit it for consideration, however, I can find no mention of this request anywhere in the CC system. It is neither included in the list of Public Requests on the "submit article" page, nor is it included as an item on the "Public Request" tab.

I'm left wondering where the request went, and why it has (apparently) been removed from view. Could it be that the client has already accepted a submitted article, despite the fact that there are still 4 more days before the request should have expired? Alternatively, could it be that the request still exists somewhere in CC-land, but some technical glitch is keeping it from being displayed on the"submit articles" page?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can weigh in with an informed answer....

Hallo, I think it simply means that the request has been removed. The buyer may have accepted an article or they may have changed their minds. The best thing is to go ahead and write it, and submit it. It will probably sell eventually: I have actually never sold an article having submitted it for a public request, thinking about it, but the ones I have submitted to requests often sell later... Good luck.
