Submittingfirst five articles

I am fairly new and haven't reached the five minimum submission threshold yet, so I'm not able to contact vendors who have requested content. I was wondering, how can I be sure, before writing a new requested article, that the vendor hasn't already received and paid for the content they requested? Will the request automatically be taken down once the vendor has paid for the requested content? I really just don't want to waste time writing a request that's already been fulfilled, and I can't contact the vendor to ask yet because I have less than five submissions. Thanks.

No, there's no way to know unless you see a similar article sell, then you can kinda guess. But lots of times they buy more than one, so I would submit anyway.
