can't access forum!

My computer died and I got a new one which meant getting Windows 8. Since then, I havent been able to access this forum on my computer (I am posting now via someone else's). When I click on the forum I get this message: 'fatal/cache/ is not writable' The rest of the site seems ok though it's looking a bit strange. Anyone got any idea what I should do?

Have you tried different browsers? I use Firefox and I never have problems with it. Not Windows 8 though.

Thanks for the suggestion, cw: it seems to be something else though. I emailed support and they said that accessing the forum from the 'new' site is the issue. They sent me a direct link to the forum not via the main site and that works fine....

Glad they helped fixed it for you! I did notice there's no direct link to the forum from the new site. I just type it in my URL bar.

That would have made sense: I am very thick about computers!

But there is a link to the forum on the new site, right at the bottom, which hasn't been working properly, hence the message I got.
